The long-awaited Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) 2023 has finally reached a crucial stage in its release process, bringing renewed hope and excitement among DepEd teachers and personnel nationwide. After months of monitoring SARO and NCA updates, many divisions are now reporting progress, with several SDOs beginning to receive their credited bonuses.

Once a SARO is released, the agency can start processing the budget (e.g., payroll preparation, fund allocation).

After SARO, what’s next?

1. SARO – authorization to obligate funds

2. NCA (Notice of Cash Allocation) – actual cash release so the money can be paid out

3. Credit to ATM – final step, matatanggap na ng employees
