To further enhance the capabilities and recognize the proficiency of teaching personnel in the field of ICT and Digital Learning, the Department of Education (DepEd), through the Information and Communications Technology Service-Educational Technology Unit (ICTS-EdTech Unit), will conduct PROJECT 24/17, a collaborative professional development and certification program from DepEd and Microsoft to upskill the public-school teachers, from June to November 2022.

PROJECT 24/17 aims to capacitate and certify 1,224 DepEd teaching personnel through a free training program in becoming Microsoft Certified Educators (MCE) and Microsoft Office Specialists (MOS).

Application is open to all EPP, TLE, and TVL ICT Teachers from Elementary to Senior High Public-School teachers. Applicants must be:

1. Available once a week for a forty-minute training and committed to studying and practicing via an asynchronous online review.

2. Able to secure an approval or endorsement letter from the school head or immediate supervisor to support them during the training proper.
