The Department of Education (DepEd) continues to make steady progress in processing the 2023 Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) for both teaching and non-teaching staff. Regional offices are actively working on the required submissions, ensuring that all documents move forward as scheduled.
As Form 1.0 submissions come in, validation efforts are also underway across various regions. These ongoing steps bring DepEd closer to completing the necessary processes for the release of the 2023 PBB.
Form 1.0 plays a crucial role in assessing whether employees qualify for the PBB, an annual incentive awarded to government personnel who meet the standards outlined in the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS). Regional offices are responsible for preparing, consolidating, and submitting all required documents, which then go through multiple levels of review to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
As of the most recent update, these DepEd Regional Offices have received their Special Allotment Release Orders (SARO) for the 2023 PBB payout:
- Region VII – Central Visayas
- Region VIII – Eastern Visayas
- Region IX – Zamboanga Peninsula
- Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR)
