“PBB for teachers” refers to the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) — a cash incentive given to qualified Department of Education (DepEd) personnel based on their performance for the year.

What is PBB?
The Performance-Based Bonus is part of the government’s Results-Based Performance Management System (RBPMS), which rewards employees who contribute to achieving their agency’s goals and targets.

Who can receive it?
Public school teachers and other DepEd employees are eligible if their schools, SDOs, and regions meet the performance indicators and requirements set by the AO25 Inter-Agency Task Force.
