Bilang principal author ng National Teachers' Day Act, iginiit ni Deputy Minority Leader at ACT Teachers Partylist Rep. Antonio Tinio ang komite na taasan ang World Teachers' Day Incentive Benefit (WTDIB). Tinutulak ni Rep. Tinio na mula P1,000 ay gawing P1,500 ang incentive. Nagbigay naman ng suporta si Department of Education (DepEd) Sec. Sonny Angara para sa pagtaas ng incentive.
