WORLD TEACHERS' DAY INCENTIVE BENEFIT, GAWING P1,500! 

Bilang principal author ng National Teachers' Day Act, iginiit ni Deputy Minority Leader at ACT Teachers Partylist Rep. Antonio Tinio ang komite na taasan ang World Teachers' Day Incentive Benefit (WTDIB). Tinutulak ni Rep. Tinio na mula P1,000 ay gawing P1,500 ang incentive. Nagbigay naman ng suporta si Department of Education (DepEd) Sec. Sonny Angara para sa pagtaas ng incentive.



In the Philippines, the incentive benefit for World Teachers' Day is a $1,000 World Teachers' Day Incentive Benefit (WTDIB) given to eligible public school teachers. It is paid out on or before October 5, which is designated as National Teachers' Day by Republic Act No. 10743.
