As confirmed by Proclamation No. 727, s. 2024, the following holidays will be observed in August 2025: August 21, 2025 (Thursday): Ninoy Aquino Day (Special Non-Working Holiday)
August 25, 2025 (Monday): National Heroes Day (Regular Holiday)
This means that students and teachers will have a long weekend from August 23 to 25. Classes will resume on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, which also marks the beginning of the Second Academic Quarter.
