President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has given her department a year to review and reassess the K–12 curriculum, according to Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio.

“We were given by President Marcos, one year this school year, the school year 2022-2023, to give a final answer about our K to 12 program here in the country,” she said.

The review also aims to improve the quality of education in the country.

“There have also been lengthy discussions on the continuation and viability of the K to 12 school system. We are giving this a careful review, and all necessary inputs and points of view are now being considered,” he said.
