The Department of Education, through the Office of the Undersecretary for Administration, issues OUA Memorandum 00-1221-0085 or the Reiteration of Disaster Preparedness for Response Measures for Typhoon Odette.
In view of the impending impact of Typhoon “Odette” (Rai) to the education sector, this issuance is to widely disseminate information on the preparedness for response measures to be undertaken by all exposed schools as stated in DepEd Order No. 33, s. 2021 or School-Based Disaster Preparedness and Response Measures for Typhoons, Flooding, and Other Weather-Related Disturbances and Calamities.
All School Heads, with the help of DRRM Coordinators and DRRM Team Members, shall lead the measures stated in the policy.
