In line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen support for the country’s educators, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has released an additional Php 7.372 billion to fully cover the remaining cash requirement for the FY 2025 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) of eligible teaching and non-teaching staff nationwide.
DBM Secretary Rolando U. Toledo approved the issuance of the corresponding Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) on January 27, 2026, completing the full payment of the SRI and reaffirming the government’s commitment to recognizing the exemplary service of the education workforce who serve at the frontlines of learning and nation-building.
